Hello, my name is Tammy Stanerson. I think it's important for children to understand the responsibilities of owning and caring for a pet. I would like my daughters, Lexi and
Carly, to know what ethical breeding is all about and what it means to show an AKC breed to it's championship. I also want them to know why it is so important to make sure they are properly health tested. We find it essential to place the puppy in the best
possible home for its individual needs. Just like kids, all puppies are different.

In 1996, the Havanese was recognized by the AKC to be eligible to compete in the AKC Toy Group. I started showing
Havanese in 2006. I am a member of the local havanese specialty club and the designer of our logo.

This is a very dedicated group of volunteers that love animals. This no-kill shelter is a non-profit organization that relies on the generousity of people like you. We are very lucky to have this organization in our community.
